Mallory Kass at Scholastic has bought, in an exclusive submission, YA novel As Long as We’re Together by Brianna Peppins. In the fallout of her parents’ tragic death, middle child Novah holds her family together—parenting her younger siblings, corralling the older ones, and running their inherited dog grooming business—while social services monitors the situation closely, threatening to separate the Wilkinson kids for good. Publication is scheduled for spring 2023; Jas Perry at KT Literary brokered the deal for world rights.
