not as pretentious as the header image suggests, but just as awesome

Welcome New Client, Aaron Talley!

I’m thrilled to announce that educator and activist Aaron Talley is now represented by kt literary!

Pitched as a book for the lonely Black queer teens, Aaron’s debut Young Adult novel puts a speculative spin on an inspired exploration of adolescent mental health. Drawing from an extensive background in educating young people, Aaron’s writing is as timely as it is magnetic; GINKO’S COMPLEX is a stunning mix of the dark, otherworldly visuals of anime like Death Note and the tender introspection of titles like ARISTOTLE AND DANTE and MORE HAPPY THAN NOT.

Aaron Talley is a writer, activist, and educator currently based in Chicago, Illinois. His writings, which explore the intersections between identity, spirituality, education, and mental health have been published in various blog and media outlets, including The Advocate, Education Post, and The Nation. When not writing, reading, or teaching, or you can find him watching anime or playing the latest Japanese RPG. He is originally from Detroit, Michigan.
