Amazon Studios and director Sterlin Harjo have optioned Rebecca Roanhorse’s “Welcome To Your Authentic Indian Experience TM.” Harjo will adapt with Heather Rae producing. Originally published in Apex magazine, this sci-fi story follows a Native man working for a virtual reality company that offers “authentic” Indian experiences to dark ends. It won both the Nebula and Hugo Award. Kassie Evashevski of Anonymous Content inked the deal on behalf of Roanhorse and Sara Megibow of kt literary.
