I am so excited to welcome Marcella into kt literary family. Her YA novel is equal parts fantasy, court intrigue, history, and murder mystery, with a dash of romance and amazing prose. I’ve been looking for a fantasy with elements of mystery for a while now, and when I opened her book and started reading, I knew this was the one.
Marcella Ferreri is a YA writer who lives in a small, rural town in Northern Connecticut with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, also known as her squire. He keeps her company while she writes; she provides the treats and he lets her choose the music.
She loves writing strong female characters who are far from perfect. One of her favorite things to do is reread a book. Again.
