Rebecca came to me via the query slush pile with an incredible fantasy about a reluctant heroine who must chase down a witch whose flesh-eating monsters threaten all of Dinétah (the ancestral name for the Navajo homeland).
Rebecca is Black/Native American (Ohkay Owingeh) currently living in Santa Fe, a VONA/Voices workshop attendee and a Yale grad.
This book is absolutely amazing and I can’t wait for readers to dive in! I’m honored to be working with Rebecca and so pleased to welcome her aboard!
