Guys, I am so ready for Halloween. Our whole family is dressing up as the family from Brave (although we only have one little bear brother, not triplets). Can’t wait to share pictures! And speaking of pictures, I love this series of pics of people dressed as books. I’ve seen some great book-related costumes posted around. What are some of your favorites? Anyone ever dress like a character from a KT Literary book? Share your favorite pics and links in the comments!

What a cute idea! Every year on my blog I post my favorite book-related costumes, and this is this year's batch: http://bloggingforya.blogspot.com/2012/10/happy-h… (my favorite is the hipster's book costume, aka a plain t-shirt that says "I'm a character from an obscure old novel you've never read")
When I was in middle school I once dressed as the main character in the R.L. Stein book IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SINK. If you're not up on your Goosebumps lore, this was about a normal twelve-year-old girl who discovers an evil sponge. So, basically, I went to this fancy Halloween party dressed as a normal twelve-year-old girl (meaning: myself) along with a sponge inside a plastic Tupperware marked "evil." I wish I could say I did this ironically, but I was 100% earnest and really actually thought this was an amazing idea. Four hours of having to answer "Soooo…..who are *you* supposed to be?" and I've kinda learned my lesson as far as literary costumes.
I saw an adorable store-bought Brave costume on a kid over the weekend–it was the curly red wig that got me. I'm wondering if some of these Brave-influenced families will show up at the Renaissance Faire next summer!
