A few days ago (ok, it was longer than that, but I’m being generous with myself), I asked for a little help from my readers, in the form of your office/work spaces. I was looking for inspiration for the idea of possibly moving my own home office. And, well, it looks like my home office isn’t going anywhere soon (yay!), but I still loved seeing where you guys get your writing done. As promised, the owner of the most swoon-worthy office wins a fresh-off-the-presses copy of Sara Beitia’s debut novel The Last Good Place of Lily Odilon, out in October from Flux.
So, with thanks to all of you who contributed pictures, the winner is….
Ashley! Ashley, please email me at contests@ktliterary.com with your mailing address, and I’ll get your book in the mail to you ASAP. If you guys want a peak at Ashley’s cool space, check out her blog.
Special thanks to kt literary client Erin Danehy for contributing pics of her inspiring work space, which adds a little vertigo to the writing process.
And since turnabout is always fair play, here’s my work space.
If you missed your chance to submit pics of your work space for a prize, you can still share links in the comments, and we can swoon just for swooning’s sake. Cheers!

I have office envy.
Congrats, Ashley! (I love your space — so cozy!)
Kate, your work space is swoon-worthy! Looooove the bulletin boards, shelves, and all of the organization! *swoons again*
I have office envy too! 🙂
Congratulations, Ashley! Win-win for you because you not only have a great work space, but you got a great book out of it, too. I guess this should encourage us all toward better-looking offices. Motivates me to work on mine!

Wow! How fun! Thanks, Kate! And I'm glad all of you liked my little writing space. It's my happy place. 🙂 And I loved seeing all of your spaces too. What a fun idea.
