We interrupt this weekend to announce the following: as of 6pm Mountain today, November 22nd, I have answered all of the pending queries sent to me. If you sent me a query following my instructions — in particular, it was mailed directly to me and not cc’ed to me and a dozen or more of my agenting colleagues, and it did not include an attachment — but you did not receive a response, please check your spam folder for a response. If you still haven’t heard from me, do feel free to resend your query with a note that it is a resent query. Consider including an additional address I can use to respond to you.
I aim to get to all pending partials and full manuscripts in the next week, while keeping up to date on queries. We’ll see how that goes.
In other news, kt literary will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from November 25th through the 27th, and will reopen for business as usual on November 30th. We’ll also be closed for Christmas from the 21st of December to January 1st. During that time, we will be closed to queries. Any queries received between December 21st and January 1st, inclusive, will be deleted unread.
Now back to your regularly scheduled weekend.

Yay for progress! You go, girl!
Congrats on that empty mailbox! That patch image is hilarious. Is that the Girl Scout badge you get when you clear your in-box?
Congrats on catching up on the emails! I remember reading somewhere last year that agents are floaded in the New Year with queries due to all the New Year resolutions. Between those people and the NaNo'ers who didn't read all the recent agent blogs, I wonder when's a good time to query. February? Oh wait! That's when the romance writers are inspired to query. Darn it.
