I mentioned this on Twitter, but wanted to let my readers know that I’m a wee bit behind on my queries at the moment. I do try to get to all your query emails within two weeks of receipt, but right now, I’m at about 3 and a half weeks, and just wanted to let anyone who’s waiting to hear from me know. My big plan is to try to get caught up by mid-next week, and I’ll let you know when that happens.
In the meantime, thanks for your patience!
So that’s what *I’ll* be doing this weekend. What about you?

Working! Just like you 😛
Nannying tonight, working at the children's party shop tomorrow. Fun times!
But I need it, I had to spend $130 on a new laptop battery charger today cuz mine gave up last night, and on Thursday I had $80 stolen from me at a bar.
Gahhhhh
Good Luck, Kate!
I feel bad for you that you have to wade through slush on the weekend. Don't work too hard!
I'm not sure yet what I'll be doing. Hopefully I can get Word downloaded on this computer I'm using at my in-law's house so I can work a little bit on my much-neglected WIP. That would be fun. But there have so many technical difficulties with the computers in this house since we got here, I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
I'm volunteering with the homeless…
seriously! haha that's the most interesting I've been in a while, so I've been shouting it from all over haha!
I'll be working too, slaving away at my day job until *dreamy sigh and gagga eyes* until my dream job sweeps me away.
*toothy grin* Okay, back in the real world, I have about 20 estimates to put together, light fixtures to order, commodities to release, RFI's to wade through. GADS! That's all the stuff I was supposed to get done last week. Didn't happen, though. Whoops! The joys of construction.
For all the whining, I love it though.
I'm in Reno, NV now visiting my sister. It's HOT!!! and I haven't gotten used to the altitude yet so I'm a little off. Sadly, by the time I do get adjusted, I'll be on a plane back home. Right now, we are about to go to a Wine Walk…and it's just like it sounds, you sample wines whilst walking. YAY!
I wish I was wine walking with Karen! But, I'm working on revisions and also building a website (nothing like being prepared! :^) )
I just got back from a chaotic week of leading and teaching Theater camp, prepping and surviving my 4 year olds birthday party, and now I'm heading into a week of NOTHING with my kids so we can recoup, but lots of writing on a new book. Weee, I love new projects! Sorry you have to work over time!
