Feeling in control of my pile of submissions to read, I recently picked up and quickly finished Meg Cabot’s Queen of Babble Gets Hitched, which I enjoyed. It’s a quick read, as mentioned, very funny, and picks up exactly where the previous book left over, so you do need to have read that (and the first book in the trilogy) to really know what’s going on. And this one hit at a pretty emotional core, going (I think) a little deeper than books one and two, and nicely allowing some closure on Lizzie’s story. She’s definitely a character I will look forward to seeing on the big screen.
Look for another Recent Read real soon, as I’m halfway through another great book!

Where book 2 left off was killer! However, I felt that the actions (in the wine storage room) at the end of book 1 weren't really in character for Lizzie. I've been waiting to get my hands on book 3. I'm glad to hear it's a good one.
Jane Green's books are good, if you're looking for something. I liked "Jemima J" and "Swapping Lives".
Yay! I enjoyed this one too! LOVE Chaz. Meg is one of my favorite authors — there is something so comfortable, so friendly about her characters. I just read Airhead last weekend. So Much. Fun. She is an evil genius. Add it to your to-read list if you haven't yet 🙂
This is good to hear. I'm waiting for an available copy at the library, but it seems there's a line. I'm also waiting for The Mysterious Benedict Society which I've seen recommendations for a number of places (including, I think, on here).
