Had a really brilliant time at the SCBWI Western Washington annual conference this past weekend. The chapter put together a truly impressive line-up, organized a phenomenal good time, and did it all with a smile on their faces. Huge props to Sara and Jolie and Jaime and Joni and Lauri and everyone else who worked behind the scenes to pull it all together.
It's been nominated for the YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) Teens' Top Ten list, to be voted on in October.
I'm getting caught up again after a weekend away, happily pouring through my inbox to find all sorts of good news about my authors. Like this review of BAND GEEK LOVE by Josie Bloss in the School Library Journal.
