In spite of everything going on with publishing companies this week, there’s still good news to be had. Like the Horn Book review of The Unnameables by Ellen Booraem.
Oh my god, guys, it’s December already! How did that happen??? I spent the long, lovely holiday weekend getting caught up on some tv, reading Jennifer Weiner’s Certain Girls, playing video games, and sleeping. Good times, all.
I know I don’t have to tell you guys to vote today, right? I’m sure most of you have already taken advantage of early voting or mail-in ballots — I know I have! So with my civic duty done for the day, I can congratulate JenFW (For the Win!), whose question was overwhelmingly picked by her fellow readers to represent you in my meetings with editors. Woot Jen!
Ok, guys, we got a lot of great questions for my upcoming trip. Now, as promised, I’m posting what I think are the best or the most popular three questions, and you guys get to decide, in the comments, which one question I’m going to post to each editor I see in NYC in the forthcoming week. Ready?
Trashionista loves Let it Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle, and calls all three stories “wintery, Christmassy, funny, gripping and romantic.”
