Find us at Denver Comic Con!

DCC-Blue_600x600If you’re a local nerd, or a nerd about writing, come see Sara and I this Friday at Denver Comic Con! We’re on a panel together at 2:15pm in Room 506/507 called Ask A Literary Agent. Come see us, and, as the box says, ask us anything! Bring your questions about querying an agent, traditional publishing, self publishing, hybrid publishing, subsidiary rights like translation, graphic novel adaptations, and film & TV rights, or anything else you can think of related to writing and publishing your book.

DCC has a great programming schedule, including an entire track on writing and for authors, which you can find here. KT Literary client Betsy Dornbusch also has an extensive speaking schedule, including panels on Writing Characters That Don’t Conform, and Dealing with Discouragement in Writing & Publishing. Her full schedule can be found here.

Friend of the blog Sara Ryan is a featured guest at DCC, and also has some great panels I can recommend, on LGBT Comics and Genderbending in Writing. Check out her full schedule! My friend Jenn Prosser, an amazing teacher and nerd, is also speaking with Sara on a panel on How Educators and Librarians Can Collaborate to Use Comics in the Classroom.

And if you’re a cosplay nerd, you can also find me on stage at the Shindig Saturday with my family as the crew of the Serenity. Yes, even my two-year-old. It will be epic!
