If I couldn't be a writer I would totally be what I am. An aerospace engineer. Rocket science isn't for everyone, but its my cup of tea. That and I get paid to do things like watch the Space Shuttle launch. Keep your fingers crossed that it goes off tonight!!!

A nuclear chemist! Which is what I already am, so the transition shouldn't be too hard ;P

Although if I could be anything (not writing/nuclear chemistry, of course) I would be a marine biologist studying sea horses. I very nearly went into that career path, until I realized that I liked money and furniture and clothes, and there is much more money in nuclear chemistry than sea horses.

I'd probably try to be an interior designer or maybe a chef on a TV cooking show. Or an actress. Boy, I'd love to be an actress.

As for what I'd be? Probably a pastry chef. Except for the horrendous hours. Perhaps I'd open a bakery.

My day job is in media selling/ad sales, which I actually totally love. I get to work with people AND with spreadsheets, two of my favorite things!

If I wasn't pouring all my artistic wackiness into writing, I would probably still be serious about music (I used to play piano and guitar) or I would be pursuing something behind-the-scenes in theatre.
