Dear ms. kt agent-persn,

So, I know your deadline past but I have a excellent idea for a book. See, another headline on this blog or website says,'who wrote the book on swine flu'? and I thought, well, who DID write the bookk on swine flu? Nobody did because it hasn't really hahppened yet. So. I think it should be me that writes the swine flu book.

I had the flu once. Really bad. I was sick for, you know, like a whole month. It was bad. I was so sick I threw up a lot and I had a big fever of more than ten points above average and I coughed and my lugns got all full of snot or whatever and especially I had a fever, like I said, and I was always so hot, all the time, it was like I was sweating like a pig.

So. I think I could write about the swine flu because I know all about flus. Of course they are different, I'm not dumb, but this background plus all my science background of school and academic knowledge about sickness and germs and infections and virals. I would interview the people who have got the swine flu and how they got it. I could talk to the sciences people who find out the data specific stuff about what makes and causes it. I live near the border with Mexico and I thinki that would make for an angle.

My writing background is expensive. I wrote for my journal for almost 43 years already now. And I wrote an article for the school paper, and my churches newsletter I write for them all the time. Also I write a lot for the newspaper in my town here in Oklahoma. I took so many classes and even have gone for those writer conferences and heard many famous good authors and learned a lot.

So I know this is probably too much to tell you about how good I am but it is an epical topic so I think you should have a quality writing person do it. It seems liek if we make this agremment now we can have a jump up on the competition. (I didn't read that article on who will write book about swine flu I just saw the title and started right away to write this letter so we don't miss out and start to late.)

I would also be willing even to get the swine flu so I could write it about my very personal experience of being swined out. Don't you think this would make this an especially compeling story.

So. Yes, thank you. You can write back right away I'll be sitting right here by the computer all the time. We can get it started once for all. And be the first of all. WOuldn't you love to be in that? Me too.

So, yes, thank you, once again more. I'm going to start working on it now. I will fax you pages as I get them done.

Sincereley,
yours,

This was a great contest idea! Congrats to the winners (Fiction Novel could have won on it's title alone), and here's to hoping you host another laugh fest in the future!

P.S. I'd buy that Civil Disobedience with Bombs book in comic form. :D
