I sobbed. I sat on the plane, arms pinned to my sides by the wall on my left and the man on my right, and tears ran unchecked down my face. If I Stay by Gayle Forman is a remarkable book. Like many books for teens, it’s about a choice, but the choice that Mia has to make is bigger than most. As Mia grapples with her decision, Forman describes perfect jewels of scenes, with fully developed characters that you want to know, really *know*, not just read about.

Read it before it becomes a movie. You’ll be wowed.

Ooo, I saw this in the bookstore just today! Glad to hear a positive review. I'll have to check it out!
Did you ever read last year's Before I Die by Jenny Downham? OHMYGOSH that's a great one. (And normally I'm not a fan of sad books.)

I just finished this today and it's SO LOVELY. I loved it so much, and I had to run back and thank you for the recommendation. Ladies above me, I liked Before I Die a whole lot, but I liked this EVEN MORE!

However, my favorite death lit book continues to be A Summer to Die by Lois Lowry.
