Recent Reads
So I was looking at my list of Recent Reads lately, shocked and a little appalled that it's so short (though I consoled myself with the fact that it's short because I've been reading manuscripts, not books), when I remembered a title I left out! Marvel's Civil War trade paperback collection, on the ride back from the airport recently. Especially fitting considering Rexroth and I just saw Iron Man (so awesome! Go see it!) and I was pulling most of my pre-movie information about the character from this book.
So, do I have any other comic book nerds out there? Rexroth is one, so I have lots more books on my shelves to read. I'll keep you posted!
Absolutely. I don't get rabid over film casting or alternate universes like some people I know, but I love comic books and graphic novels. Case in point: my 4 y/o knows and loves Ghost Rider. I'm indoctrinating him early.
I'm a huge X-men fan. Hugh Jackman pulled me in originally, but now I love every part of the X-men (comics and movies).
And who doesn't love the Dark Knight?
Saw Iron Man yesterday (Mother's Day outing) and loved it! I can't say I'm a comic book nerd...but, I did spend an inordinate amount of my youth in front of the comic book rack at the dime store!
BTW - hope you stuck around for the teaser at the end of the credits after Iron Man. Woot!
