Cory Doctorow on YA

| | Comments (2)

Thanks to Rexroth for this link to Cory Doctorow on BoingBoing, talking about YA sections in bookstores. He writes:

Living in a space that no one watches too closely is one of the secret ways that people get to do excellent stuff.
So take that, Kirkus! And here's to writers doing excellent stuff.

In complete agreement on the awesomeness of YA!

Corey is amazing. He's an amazing writer and he's a visionary thinker.

If he ever starts a cult, he can cound on me to occupy the first shack in the compound. Everything he's said about the direction of the industry rings true.

...And besides that, he's one of the most talented Speculative authors writing today. Craphound is one of my most favoritist short stories, EVAH!
